Hi! My name is Ashley Kimbrough, Therapist here at The Mental Bistro

Where I come from:

I am a life long resident of Franklin County, AL, and
High School Graduate of Phil Campbell. I attended the University of North Alabama for my undergrad degree and then obtained my Master’s Degree from The University of Alabama.

Other things to know about me:

While I hold to the professional and ethical code of conduct for my profession, I am also just a down to earth Alabama girl. When I am not working, you can find me outside somewhere. I love fishing, hunting, family cookouts, and shopping of course.

I feel it is very important to be approachable and relatable. When seeking a therapist for mental health services it is vital to find someone you feel you can connect with and open up to with as much ease as possible given the level of difficulty anyone experiences when starting counseling services. I hope to provide that comfort and connection to my clients.

What Qualifications I have:

I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Licensed to have a Private Independent Practice in the state of Alabama.

I am also licensed as a Clinical Social Worker for the state of Mississippi.

What is important to me:

My faith is first and my family is second. After that, my priorities involve helping my clients become the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves as possible.
